"I was just looking at your website. I have been following the updates on Hope since she left our shelter. I just wanted to let you all know how grateful I am that there ARE people in this world who care about my friends. Thank you so much for agreeing to help her! Please let everyone that has helped Hope and other dogs like her know that they are all in my prayers every day and night.

She has gone from a pitiful looking walking skeleton, and turned into the beautiful girl I knew she could be!

Thanks Again,"

Susie Long
Animal Control Officer

"As far away as Maine, caring Dalmatian lovers have read about Hope's plight to return to health. Lauren Emery, who found out about her through petfinder.com, has two rescued Dals of her own - Chili and Ivan. She has donated $50 to help with Hope's ongoing vet bills. Lauren has had two other Dalmatians, Daisy and Pearl, both whom have passed over the Rainbow Bridge."

Hope's Story is a special one. Many of you have made the journey with Hope since day one. For those of you who are new to the site, and would like to watch this girl's story unfold, it has been archived and you may read it by clicking here.

August 2004 brought a wonderful day in the life of Pepper Hope. She was adopted!
As Hope left the DRTB Sanctuary for her new "forever home", we bid her a tearful goodbye, gave her a kiss for good luck, and offered her a heartfelt "THANK YOU, HOPE!" for having touched all of our lives.
