This is the little girl who was on our front page, stuck in a shelter with very little time to live. We named her Mocha because of her chocolate colored spots, but her new Mom & Dad will address her as Sadie.
So, we are happy to report that another sad story has had a very happy ending! Thanks to our local AmSouth Bank for sponsoring a Dalmatian Adopt-a-thon Day at the Brooksville Branch. Because of them we were able to get lots of local press but more importantly, a stupendous home for the green eyed liver girl from Hillsborough Animal Control who stole everyone's hearts. Her new Mom & Dad say she is a real gem. They can't believe how lucky they were to find her. She is going to get her very own Dalmatian bedroom to use when she doesn't feel like sleeping with Mom & Dad but we bet she probably won't be using it too much!
