Still a Ways to Go...

Petey cleaned up really nice. Here he is with new Dog Dad Nathan after getting three baths to wash away all the years of neglect. We discovered a faint scar around his neck indiciating he probably spent most of his life outside on a chain. Petey has started heartworm treatment and we are all hoping this brave little guy will make it through. Nate says his favorite thing is to steal all spotted sister Charley's toys and sit by the front window watching the world go by!
