Three Dog Weekend!

There was no rest for several very dedicated DRTB volunteers over the Labor Day weekend as they drove all around the state to rescue more spots in distress. With a new volunteer and new foster home, we were able to save three more spotted boys from a very sad ending!

MJ is a handsome 7 year old who was turned into a high-kill shelter. He has been adopted and renamed by Noreen and her spotted boy Rhett. Of course, she needed an Ashley so that is how he will start his new life.

Mushu is a gorgeous 2.5 year old who was abandoned and ended up in the same high-kill shelter. He is being fostered by Cindy M. and her husband after our recent plea for more foster homes. He's a really good boy with loads of beautiful black spots. Mushu is currently up for adoption.

Bowzer, as named by Foster Dad/super volunteer Frank, was pulled out of Polk Co. Animal Services. (Thanks to Lynn for going to check him out for us) Unfortunately, he has Class III heartworms and has a long road ahead before being ready for adoption. He is only 4.5 years old and is going to make someone a really cool and gorgeous pal when healthy again. Donations would be greatly appreciated to help with his heartworm treatment.

Thanks again to all involved for giving these spotted boys a new lease on life!
