Heartworms Strike Again!

This cutie pie is now named Boomer. He is the lucky guy we just brought up from Miami Animal Control. But we have found out he's not so lucky......he's another poor Dal that is going to have to suffer through heartworm treatments due to another unresponsible owner. He tested high positive so the treatment will take at least 90 days. And hopefully won't kill him in the process. This is not an easy road for these dogs....please stress the importance of monthly heartworm preventative to every dog owner you know. And keep Boomer in your prayers. Thanks to Pat H. for doing such a good job of cleaning this guy up and making him look extra special.
